Each year my moms family gets together for a day of shopping. It has gotten so big though that we just meet for lunch and then kinda go our owm way shopping. We had like 55 people at lunch. It was so fun to get together and see everyone. This is a tradition that I have always loved.
For Carstons party we just got together with some family and friends and had dinner and cake and ice cream and watched a cute movie that my mom made for his first year. When you get my family and Josh's family together there are always a ton of people so I think that Carston was a little overwhelmed by the end of the night. I just want to say thanks to all of our family and friends who came. We feel so blessed to have so many people who love and support us. And a special thanks mom for spending the time to make the video for Carston. It was so cute. You are always so great to help out. Thanks again to everyone who came. We love you!
< I Can't believe that Carston is one. He is such a sweet baby. I just love him so much! It is always hard to put into words how I feel about my kids, But I just feel so incredibly blessed to have Carston in my life. His sweet spirit and cheerful disposition can always make me happy. Josh always says that Heavenly Father sent him here to cheer him up when he is having a bad day. Happy Birthday Carston! We love you!!
Halloween was full of fun activities this year. We went to a carnival at Hudson's school, went to the ward trunk or treat, and went up to a party at Mike and Vicki's house. The boys had so much fun. They got way too much candy and wore me out.
I got a little behind on some of my posts so here are a few from last month. I love the fall time because their are so many fun activities to do. The boys loved going out to Thanksgiving Point for the Barnyard Boo. They were especially excited to go with Kaelan. They love doing things with him. As you can tell Carstons favorite part was the face painting, I think Kaelans was the cookies and the other boys just had a ball running around and exploring.
I go to a mom and tot class with Hudson once a week. This was one of the field trips that we went on. The boys of course loved it. Jaxon had already been with his school so he was very proud that he already knew everything and could show Hudson. Especially the giant pig "Leroy" (Sorry no picture) They talked about that huge ugly pig for days. They also loved getting a pumpkin out of the pumpkin patch. I didn't enjoy that so much. By the end I was carrying Carston and two pumpkins and Hudson was laying on the ground crying because his legs were tired and I wouldn't carry him. To say the least, that is when we went home:)
Carston is almost 1. I can't believe it. Nichole did these invitations for me and I just love them. She did such a great job. It was so fun to look back at all of his pictures through the year. I feel like he has changed a ton but in the pictures it doesn't really look like he has changed that much. Thanks Nichole. I love them.
