24th of July

For the 24th we just hung out at my mom & dad's. We set up the slide had a BBQ and did some fireworks. It was fun and nice to do something relaxing.

Seth goes to the MTC

Josh's brother left for his mission this week. He will be in the MTC for a couple of weeks and then he is headed to North Carolina. We went to breakfast at I HOP with him and then took him to the MTC. It was nice and the same as it always is. It is fun to see how excited all of the missionaries are. I think I am getting old though cause they all looked like they were about 12.

So I think that Jaxon is allergic to Bees. On Sat. he got stung on his eyebrow by a bee and this is what it looks like. His whole eye and nose are really swollen. I feel bad but he says that it doesn't hurt anymore. Hopefully with all of the benedryl the swelling will go down soon. So much for trying to do family pictures this week:)

Steel Days Carnival

The boys love carnivals and every time we passed it they would beg to go. Josh was working and I had promised them that I would take them, so on Friday I decided to be brave and go it on my own. To my surprise the boys were GREAT! I think sometimes I always expect the worst but they were so well behaved, listened to me, didn't even argue or throw any tantrums. Which unfortunately doesn't happen very often. I had such a good time with them. I am very glad that we went!

Seven Peaks

This week we went with my moms family to seven peaks. The boys had so much fun. They loved the slides. They played so hard. This is them at the end of the day. They were pooped! The other pic is of them walking to the car together. They just grabbed each others hands and started walking so I couldn't resist a picture. Sometimes they can be such good friends.

Boating

Last week we went boating. The weather wasn't great so we mostly just tubed but it was still a good time. The kids loved it. Poor Brett was the only guy with 5 women and a bunch of kids. Hope he didn't mind looking like a polygamist for the day. Thanks Brett for being patient and taking a bunch of women and their kids. We had a lot of fun.

Family Night Fireworks and BBQ

On Mon. we decided to have everyone over for dinner and some fireworks. It was a lot of fun. Brett provided the ILLEGAL fireworks, Josh did the dry ice bombs, Evrest brought the beezers a.k.a flowers and Cody was our official firework lighter. All I can say is that I am glad there were no cops at my front door:) Thanks everyone who came. We had a great time

4th of July

4th of July was a lot of fun this year. We started our day out by taking a flag and some balloons up to Ryan's grave. The boys love going to visit his grave. Jaxon always asks if we can go by and make sure that everything is OK, so they were extra excited to take some balloons. After that we had a BBQ at Grandma Aults. They blew up the bounce houses and the big water slide. The kids had a blast but I think that their favorite part was the cotton candy machine that my cousin brought and my grandma's snow cone machine. They love sugar!! We also had a good time at the Stadium of fire. I am not sure what the big deal is about Miley Cirus but we had a lot of fun anyway. Jaxon and Carston loved all of it but Hudson hid under the bleachers through most of the fire works. All in all it was a really good day!

Seven Peaks

This week my dad's singles ward went to Seven Peaks. They invited us to come along and it was so much fun! My kids were little fish. They weren't even scared of the water. It was also very entertaining to watch all of the young singles. I can't believe that we were that immature and dorky when we were that age. Thanks Mom & Dad for taking us along. We loved it!

You Are Pocahantas!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Free-spirited and wise. You have a strong passionate spirit that touches and changes all who know you. The wisdom and common sense that you have is really what guides you through life. Even so, you also have a very playful side that loves adventure and excitement.

Which Disney Princess Are You?
So I thought I would try this since it involved princesses and my life consists of trucks, trains, tools and lots of dirt. And what do ya know... I most resemble the princess that is most like a BOY! I guess I shouldn't be surprised hu? I guess I can live all of my princess dreams through my friends girls. They have plenty of them. I am sure they will lend me one every now and then.

Boating at Utah Lake

Last night for family night we decided to go down to the lake. It was a ton of fun. We had eleven kids under the age of 6. They all loved swimming. We couldn't keep them out of the water. It was crazy but so fun. Thanks mom and dad for letting us take the boat and for coming along.
